The report request also helps route questions to the right team. Some users need procurement language for recycled or bio-attributed inputs. Others need EHS context, application notes, or a comparison between waterborne and solventborne routes. Akzonobel treats those as connected decisions, because a lower-impact coating still has to meet adhesion, gloss, corrosion, weathering, and production window requirements.
Any sustainability claim should be read with its stated boundary, baseline, and test method. Broad words such as eco-friendly are not useful for approval meetings. A practical report package explains what was measured, which product family was involved, which region the information applies to, and what still needs to be validated during the customer trial.
