Scenario B: You're a Small Shop / Job Shop – Flexibility Over Volume
If you do 50 different colors a month, small batches, and quick turnarounds, your biggest headache isn't rework – it's inventory obsolescence. That half-pallet of orange powder you bought for one job? It's been sitting for 18 months. (And orange doesn't expire great – it can yellow or cake.)
What I'd recommend for small batch
Consider AkzoNobel's Interpon 600 series or their AquaEC water-based options if you need low-temperature cure. But more importantly, negotiate with your distributor for just-in-time delivery and small-batch pricing. I know – everyone says "buy in bulk to save money." But I only believed that's not always true after ignoring it and paying $800 to dispose of 4 pallets of obsolete powder. (Reverse validation, anyone?)

- How often do you need to touch up finished parts? Weekly = make sure you have a touch-up system (Scenario C).
Between you and me, most shops I've audited are actually a mix of A and B. Don't overthink it – pick the dominant scenario and use that to drive your conversation with the AkzoNobel distributor.
